I broke my leg four wheeling a few weeks ago and I got a cast and crutches but for some reason my dog keeps licking my cast

He just follows me all around the house licking my cast it's starting to get annoying Any reasons why?

He probably can smell your leg sweating and whatnot. Being in a cast makes it so you can't wash it, and dogs are attracted to the smallest of stinks. Could be why.
