What are a few things I could do to help me get over a guy?

I fell hard for the first guy who told me stupid sh*t like, "You're soft, You're warm..." He acted like he was really into me. I let myself trust him, and he's the first guy I ever let touch me (in certain specific ways). We were really good friends, but now he completely ignores me. He doesn't walk me to class anymore, he doesn't sit by me anymore, he doesn't even talk to me anymore. A couple days ago I found out through someone else that he's actually dating this other girl now; I felt sick the entire rest of the day. I wasted alot of energy trying to get him to like me back, and even now it's really hard to stop thinking about him. It's really hard to get away from him, because we have just about every class together. Everytime I see him it hurts like crazy. I know I need to just let go and get over him, but I just don't know how to...

Honestly there's nothing u can do..u can try to avoid it but in the end then pain doesnt go away!!:/..the only answer is TIME..I know it suckz and u just wanna move on but the more u try to get over it..the more u think about it and realize u can't..Nd trust I've been heartbroken once in my life..it took me two years and I'm going on threw and it still hurts sometimes..but ya just gotta get on with life and know that only time can tell..hope the best for ya sweetie!!:)..

Lolz ikr !!:)..me neither..I berly took dis pic today cuz I didn't hav any others..the only pics I take r the ones on mii iPod which is lyk 5 of mee nd 100 of other ppl but I won't take them on anyone else's cameras..two things I dont like:cameras..and mirrors.(&pickles but that doesn't count) lolz!!:p..

Lolz Honestly I've been better!!:)..this weeks been pretty hectic but I'm hanging in there..Nd my good friend just checked herself into a clinic so dealing wit crap I guess...how about yeww??:).

I know this girl for 2 years, she keeps saying she dont want a bf , and then goes and gets a bf, I know she likes me, always checking on me!! The guy is a bum dont own a car or a job!! I feel like the guy she going to fall back on when shes done!! I am still her friend, but dont feel that way for her that much no more!!:)

All these answers above me are true but I believe you will get over him when u get over him and test me u will find a real man someone better but for now I will experience sadness and lonliness so try to find a way to go to a happy place anytime u have a trigger that upsets u!! Praying for ya girl keep ya head up! Sounds like ur a catch and a classy lady that's rare these days ;)

I don't want to depress you, honey, but the feeling of having a scared heart never fades away. It WILL heal by time.

I have been in that position a couple of times, all I did was find new hobbies, hang out with friends, try new adventure, and most of all, I didn't stop myself from falling in love again.

You know what else helped? Writting out my feelings, making up a story built on the events, just then I realized how stupid it is to mourn, and cry over such a guy, who is so cheap to leave me like that.

Stay confident, and strong.

Wish I could tell you it's going to be alright but I can't. It'll probably be alright and a year from now you'll probably being and feeling so much better you will look at this question and not remember the true depth of the emotions you feel now. But for a while, maybe even a long while, it's gonna suck. About the only thing you can do is keep busy, if you think about it you'll just feel worse. Just keep busy and remember not all boys are going to treat you that way.

This is one of the really hard things we have to learn to cope with as we get older. Please understand that the way he's treating you has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with him, and what kind of guy he really is. He is an a**.

Although it's too soon for you to realize it, you have learned some valuable lessons from this relationship. You now know that it's really important to save your body for guys you have dated for a long time, and who you know very well. There are a ton of guys out there who will take advantage of any girl who lets her guard down.

Make a conscious effort to keep your shoulders back, and to hold your head up high when you walk and sit. Feelings follow behavior, so if you act confident, soon you will realize that you are feeling confident. Smile at people you don't know, and don't give a darn if they don't smile back. As you move from day to day, it will get easier, and you'll soon find that you are getting on with your life with confidence, grace and dignity. I wish you all the best, Amandie. You are going to have an awesome life.

I'm suffering from the same =)..
I, very desperately, want to get over my girl.
Whenever I see myself into mirror, I go insane and break the mirror.
Any advice? please, I shall be very thankful to you guys!
