What Is the Importance of Ramadan?

Report as

The importance of Ramadan is that it gives Muslims intense prayer time, which draws them closer to God. It also allows them to offer gifts in form of Zakat to charity in order to get purified. It is the third pillar of Islamic faith.

In ramazan muslims fast means they dont eat from dawn to dusk and thus contain their desires. Most of the people give zakat(2.5% of their wealth to the poor) in this month. Thus this month is there to attain the love of Allah(God).

It's that the Muslims thank god what they have. They can't eat anything until 9 pm I believe since my mom does it in the month of August. It's to experience the people that don't have food and to thank god of what you have. It's actually good for your stomach. Of all that digestive system work it can get a rest.
