What is happening?

Ok so I went on a sort of "crash diet": less than 1000 cal a day for four days.... at the beginning i was 136.3 lbs and I'm 5'7"... at the end i was 134.2... but now i've lost another 1.9!... 132.3 lbs! I'm not very hungry now and don't have much of an appetite... But I am trying to eat 1500 to 2000 cal now... like just avoiding processed things and bread. what's happening? Will I keep losing weight? Is this a problem?

Actually ... you're probably losing muscle mass, rather than fat. When you decrease your calories drastically, your body starts storing fat because it thinks you're in danger of starving.

Unless you are taking HCL liquid or shots ... your body will use up your "excess" muscle mass before it starts burning fat.

that actually makes it worse. Your body "sees" you needing more calories than you're taking in, so stores fat and burns muscle.

You can probably get liquid HCL at a store, which tells your body to burn the fat instead.

Also ... I always recommend getting a scale that shows body fat as well as weight. Because you can lose fat, and stay the same weight by gaining muscle.

Your stomach has probably, very quickly, gotten used to not eating much, and "shrunk". If you continue eating the way you are now, you will continue losing weight, which could lead to problems. Hope this helps!

This is not a problem. Instead, you're getting used to this. Weight exercise makes someone to lose their appetite, since the system is getting used to it. At this stage, the body now feels active and does not require much food on the stomach.
