How do you treat upper thigh pain?
I've had intermittent pain in my upper right thigh for about six months now. I was standing, walking and lifting a lot, so I thought I'd pulled a muscle. It cleared up but keeps coming back and has been really bad for the last week or so, to the point that the pain in almost constant now. If it's a pulled muscle, I know I should rest it, but how do you NOT use your leg? And I do a lot of walking, standing and lifting at work. It seems to hurt less if I keep the leg semi-bent when I'm sitting or in bed. and walking a lot seems to make things worse. Some of the research I've done online suggests this could be a nerve problem caused by my back, but I don't have any unusual back pain. Any suggestions on how I should handle this?
