Noether's first job was to teach mathematics at Gottingen. She did that for 4 years (1915-1919) under Hilbert's name, because she wasn't approved for the position, probably because she was a woman. After her Habilitation in 1919 she taught under her own name. Her last job was at Bryn Mawr.
