First soak up the liquid with something absorbent like a towel, paper towel, toilet paper, or the like. Then grab a new one and make it damp (water on it, then wring the excess water out). Then carefully wipe it clean. Then it will air dry.

You could use a damp paper towel, that could help. Just make sure its not soaking wet, just damp. Is it like melted chocolate or chocolate milk?

Take a REALLY dry/damp rag, wipe off, use Kleenex to sorta wipe, rewet rag, and rewipe then dry, very easy really. Yeh.

if the chocolate is liquid, then dry it off with a hair dryer. But if its not get a damp paper towel and gently wipe it off and in between the keys

You won't blow up your laptop just by pouring water on it but don't do the anyways since you'll ruin it.

They make special wipes for cleaning laptops and other electronics but you can just get a damp cloth (just wring out as much water as possible) and wipe off the chocolate.
I got my electronics wipes at Staples for $5 - you can find them at other places like Target, Walmart, etc.

Saliva is even worse for the laptop. Think about it: your mouth is a passageway into your body. The laptop is covered in bacteria - obviously since you don't use cleaning wipes from that statement - and so are your fingers from touching surfaces all over. You lick it and you'll get all those germs in your body.
