Can a credit union change policy for equity line disbursements different from policy set forth in the original loan?

The credit union now handles disbursement requests by performing credit report checks, income verification, etc. as it did initially. Those are not the terms of the original agreement.

I think it is possible for the Credit Union to change the policy for equity line disbursements, which is different from the policy set forth in the original loan. However, this would actually alter the entire loan scheme. This usually happens if the Credit Union initially indicated in the original loan that there is room for adjustments.
