Okay, I have the perfect pet for you! An adult (not a baby) bearded dragon. I have one, and she is amazing. She sits on my shoulder all day, or lays beside me. And the amazing thing is that bearded dragons are born naturally tame, you can actually go to Australia and pick one off the side of the road and they will just sit on your shoulder. They get up to a foot long at the absolute biggest. They are very, very sweet and never bite, like I said, even the wild ones don't bite. The tank that you have seems right for one, and remember, they are really good pets. My 3 year old sister plays with my full grown, foot long, bearded dragon named Lola all the time. Look up pictures of them. If you need and more information, I would be glad to tell you. But, I would get a bigger tank, and never buy the babys, they are really small and die easily.
um that person up there that said put a beardie in a 10 gallon tank. please do NOT do this to an adult beardie.thats sick and cruel. a new born yes 10 gallon is ok. ive had my beardie since he was a baby and I had a 10 gallon tank for him but now that hes grown he has a 45 gallon tank. 45 to 50 gallon tanks is what they need when their grown. so don't put a bearded dragon in there if u planning to keep him there. otherwise hermit crabs anoles small frogs tarantulas etc etc are good for ten gallons. :))
