Do Emus have hair or feathers ?

Feathers . They are birds .

Didn't mean to be flippant , yes they are down like and fuzzy but feathers none the less .

It has feathers that are soft brown which are used to help it to avoid heat from streaming into its skin and it makes it to be active during the afternoon heat. One of the exceptional features about the feathers is that they are double rachis that emerges from a single shaft.
