Did Abraham Lincoln really end slavery?

Presidential Question

He ended slavery kinda (as Walt_OReagun said) but he didn't end discrimination of African Americans. Years afterwards, African Americans couldn't go into the same stores as white people, couldn't sit on the same benches as white people, couldn't drink from the same water fountains as white people, etc. Things weren't equal until many years later.

Kinda. The Emancipation Proclaimation ended slavery in Confederate States under Union control. But it didn't end slavery in the North.
