I have a Subaru Outback, 2000. My remote entry lock broke and need another one to lock,open & security. Where can I get a new one?

You can get a new one at a Subaru dealer near you or even buy it online at websites such as http://www.autotransponder.com/2000_subaru_outback_keys_and_keyless_entry_remotes. On getting it you will have to follow some instructions that will come with it in order to program it.

That's a given...everybody knows that dealerships charge way more. That's why I was asking if anyone knew of another avenue of thought to purchase this item.

If u need to disable the security. U need ur master key and as u open the door or unlock it the alarm will sound. Go in and stick the key in. Turn to on position not crank just on. Then go on to off about 3 or 4 times. Cycle it and itll turn it off.
