Will I get leeches if I swim in the creek and mud?

I want to go swim and get muddy with a friend but we dont know if we will get leeches

I got one swimming in the Mississippi river, you might, just be careful. If you get one and notice it, don't freak out, just use salt on it. Hope tht helps :)

depends.....are there large tuffs of agle on rocks? cuz thats where leeches hide

im not sure, just need to know if they r in the bank cuz thats where we will most likely be
