Blueberries are considered to be indigo-colored so they are more purple than blue. They are perennial flowering plants of the genus Vaccinium. For more information, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blueberry.

Indigo is a deep shade of BLUE (containing some purple) and is a transitional color between blue and purple on a rainbow scale.

Also remember any Wiki source is considered unreliable because anyone can access it and write anything they want.
