practice that is it but when u get up to the plate get in your natural stance, bend your knees, turn your hips counter clockwise (just a little), keep your eye on the ball and be patient then swing away!
Batting Cages are the best thing to use over and over again.. But this is a game where you have to master your true strength.. You have to find a place between anger and serenity. - Picture the ball as someone you hate, but control your anger so you can hit the ball every time. I've only ever missed a ball with my swing 3 times since I was twelve... just got to find that place between anger and serenity. ( May have heard this quoted in the last X-men movie ;) )
Try this: (if right handed) Place right foot parallel to back edge of plate, dig it in. Then take your left foot and place it about 18-20 inches from right foot, point toes toward first base. Keep right elbow about 20 degrees lower than shoulder. When pitcher is ready, follow the ball all the way from glove to the release point. Follow ball to about 6-8 feet in front of plate swing should start before that point. Watch ball hit bat as you step toward pitcher. It will take some practice but it can be done.
okay well u should know what squish the bug is and make sure u hands are back enought that you can have a "load" and then once you have that get ur timing down with the pitcher and also make sure you swining is in sink with you stepping. make sure your head is down and when ur at the plate make sure that you are focused on what ur swing is doing instead of what pitch hes throwing. good luck!
