Is Occupational Therapy Assistant a good career choice?
I have been seriously researching this profession and the course and schooling necessary for it. I know that the occupation is expected to grow at a much faster rate than average, in terms of job outlook. I really think I would enjoy the work and find it rewarding I think it seems to pay a decent wage to live on. I am 24 female and have no prior college experience. Where I live there is only only program for occupational therapy assistants to study, therefore its is competitive, and also I will have to live in a smaller town than what I had hoped, I have lived in this smaller town for two years previously and it was alright but was hoping for something new. Should I move to the smaller, familiar town and have confidence in my self that I could make it in to the program or should I move to the bigger town and choose something that's not limited or "special" enrollment? Please no rude comments I am just someone trying to better myself and my career opportunities. I would like to work with children if I did attend and finish the schooling for the COTA.
