What is the (North) Sudanese curriculum for public schools?

North Sudan has a Muslim curriculum, which consists of two parts: an obligatory and an optional course of study, both of which must be taught in all schools, colleges, and universities. Islamic education classes must be taught from preschool to the second year of university, and in Arabic, although English is used as a foreign language.
