Seeing that Tennessee is hundreds of miles inland, and that the nearest ocean is in North Carolina, no, the odds of a hurricane itself hitting Tennessee are slim to none. Some rain from the storm may occur, but the actual hurricane itself would not.

A hurricane cannot reach anywhere. Once it hits land, it rapidly loses strength, dumps its rain, and disappears.

I don't recall ever seeing your name before. I happen to think it's important that we answer questions with the right answer, that's all. If we don't know the answer for sure, we should either look it up, or don't answer at all.

No. A hurricane will not hit Tennessee. Once a hurricane makes landfall, it rapidly loses strength, dumps its rain, and disappears.

I thinks it's posible. One that was down graded to a tropical storm made it to Kentucky and Tennessee a few years ago
