How can i try to trust people

because of my parents i have a hard time with trust. it is effecting my relationships with my boyfriend and all of my other friends.

I know exactly what you mean! Just talk to then and tell them what up u don't have to tell them why u have trust issues that up to you but just let them know! It will help in the long run trust me! And try to let then in a little more that will help too!

when i was in a treatment place i got really close ot one of the staff to the point where i can call him dad and then he got fired because one of the girls that was there she was trying to mess with him and he told so sh went back saying that he messed with her. the treatment place is called Eastway its in dayton OH. i still call him dad is that good or not

That's crazy!! Yeah just call me any time day or night if it's a school night I turn my phone off at like 10 10:30 but on Friday and saterday it's on all. Night!

You trust them only to a point that you will be ok and not fall apart if they disappoint you.

By having a positive attitude, and not sending an insult back to someone who tries to give you helpful advice. In your last question you commented that I must be stupid.... Well, Maybe I am, but I wouldn't go as far as name calling... Would you call that an attempt in trust?
