What is the significance of the number "four" in the Bible?

The significance of number 4 in the bible is that it is used as a bible symbol of God setting things in order. Some numbers do have significance in the bible like 3 and even 7.

4 is the number of things that are equal. So I am inclined to agree with Richy.
