What do i do if i don't have any teachers to help me write a letter of recommendation?

okay, so I'm a junior right now and im planning to go to college, but the problem is i need letters of recommendations and I'm not sure who to ask cause i'm pretty sure most of my teachers don't really know me. I'm always quiet and sit at the dark corner. And it feels just plain weird to ask them out of nowhere! So I really don't have much choices. Besides, if i ask them and they write it they barely have much to write cause they don't really know me. So pls, what should I do?

Start taking advantage of opportunities to speak with them now, especially the ones you like (or the ones whose classes you excel in). Ask help or advice when you have a tough paper or a difficult test. When you really get to know a teacher, he or she will be able to speak to your true character and your strengths, not just your score on the last exam. Many colleges also expect a recommendation from your guidance or college counselor, so don't neglect that relationship!

Solid recommendations tell a college whether you’re the type of candidate they seek. Most schools ask for two recommendations, generally from teachers at your high school. Some allow you to submit additional recommendations from employers, counselors or coaches.

Speak up. What about an extra curricular teacher. You in a book club? Debate? Have a coach? If not, this would be a good time to start talking in class.

Then you're out of luck! Do something to prove to them that you deserve one.
