Snakes usually can stay for a while without eating. They do not have to eat everyday. The time a snake can go without a meal is dependent on its age and the amount of food it ate last. There is a huge possibility the snake is still alive.
Really he should be ok. Just don't make it a habit. I used to care for many species of native Midwestern snakes and we offered mice or rats 2x per week. They almost always ate but sometimes one would skip a feeding or two around shedding. If your snake is in good general health it should be fine but watch your fingers when you feed tomorrow! Always make sure that water is available too.
