How do I delete the Cydia icon on my iPhone 3GS?

You have to restore your iPhone/iPod.

Is that the only way? I have a app that I want to keep and I did it thru jailbreaking it...

So why do you want to delete Cydia? I don't see why.

Well I want my phone to be working right with updates and everything and I really don't know how to use Cydia that well.
