why does a bird keeping flying into my glass door?

Since the glass is transparent the birds don't realize it's there. They only see what looks like an unobstructed opening into your house.

I think i can guess witch bird it is. If it's a cardinal then i can tell you. a cardinal usually flys into you window thinking it can get in. but since the window is transparent (clear) the cardinal will not realize it. thus hitting the window in a manner to fall on the ground. this used to happen to me. it just will not stop realizing.

It's just cuz the don't see the window so they think they can fly straight into your house! :D

Some birds are territorial. When he sees his reflection in the window, he thinks it's another bird.

haha cause they see the reflection of the things behind them like trees and it makes it seem like its safe to go forward and then BAM they arent going to the nest no more
