What is the difference between a tetanus and a Dtap shot?

Last night my dogs was choking and I stuck my hand in her mouth to help...she accidentally bit me. I called the doctor to get a shot today and I am not sure which one to get. They said I can get either. Do you know the difference? I know I can just ask them, but I am just wondering before I go in. THANKS!

The DTaP vaccines help develop immunity to children under 7 years against diphtheria, tetanus and whopping cough. Tetanus on the other hand only protect develops immunity against tetanus and is available for adults and teens.
