if you were trying to be funny in your answer there know that you will one day meet Him. It actually makes me laugh that some poeple can moke God when they will have to meet Him in the day of Jugdment. God said that if you seek Me you will find Me... if someone wants something, they will hunt it out, although God doesn't need to prove Himself, He wants everyone to find Him, all anyone need do, is open their eyes to the truth that is all around, miracles are everywhere, physical and supernatural,,,if anyone wants to find God, He will allow Himself to be found.

What I believe is that God is the "good" power versus the "evil" power. God also, might have been an "extraterrestrial Himself". There may be many "Gods" out there but the God we worship is generally based on the fact that we are human and gifted the rule of this planet. God simply was showing our race on how to live together in harmony and preserve our planet in a presence that wouldn't alarm us. I feel that life really goes on past death as we know it and that God is all around us. A good question is what is a Soul? Life is a gift that tempers the metal of your soul. Just my opinion but whether you believe or not is up to you. Give God a chance and see if your world changes.

OMG. How did I miss the news about the definitive proof of life on other planets. Not only did they prove that but apparently they have proven who created this life.

I never said I didn't believe there was life on other planets. Simply that as of yet there has not been any definitive proof. Even it there was such proof why would we assume that God didn't create that life?

There has been NO proof of life on other planets and I noticed ur screen name... If you believed in God, I promise u ur name would change! Start reading the bible to get the whole story and you will understand. God doesn't want u to believe just because u have PROOF Hes there. If you look at ur life, there's unexplainable things that happen and that's Him glorifying Himself!

God is hope and consequence. Hope for an afterlife and consequence for doing bad. People need both to live. I do not believe in religion and feel it is responsible for most of the worlds wars throughout history, including the war on terror today. I think to assume one religion is "the religion" is very elitist and downplays other cultures beliefs. Faith is just that; faith that you're right. I'll go with science, which deals more with proof. Explain how Christian religion is only about 2 thousand years old (new testament) and about 4 thousand more (old testament) when in the US alone, some Indian tribes are 10,000 plus years old? And what about dinosaurs, proven evolution, other galaxies?? I understand why people need faith, but believe the bible is just a self help book. It's just a best seller in that regard.

In the bible it says that God created the whole universe not just earth.
As far as why i believe in God; i believe in god because of many hours of research both of the bible and other writings and because of events that happened to me in the past that i'd rather not talk about on an open forum because they are too personal.
