well its impossible to stop all at once.so u'll have to smoke less and less each day then finally just quit.at first u'll expeience symptoms of withdrawal,but thats just ur body getting used to surviving without nicotne.so dont go back to smoking.when u feel those symptoms,just drink water or exercise etc.soon enough,those syptoms will stop and u'll be able to lead a normal and healthy life!

My Grandma used to smoke, and to stop smoking she distracted herself by doing something enjoyable whenever she wanted a cigarette (for her it was playing the piano, she says she played a LOT of Bach when she was trying to quit!) Her husband, a non smoker, also showed her some tough love by throwing away the cigarettes and not letting her go buy any when she wanted one, and if she wanted to go shopping, he'd go with her to make sure she didn't sneak one while she was out. It worked, and she's been of cigarettes for 30 years.
