Are there any good uses for used pill bottles?

Yep, first one that pops in my mind is pill bottles are good for holding pills...

I guess you could plant small plants in it or use it to hold other things

Holding odds and ends like left over screws and nails. organizing buttons by size. holding pin and needles. Just organizing small things

You can use them for loose screws or buttons sewing needles and pins, depending on the size, you can organize jewelry like earrings. Makeup brushes, Qtips or other small bathroom items. You MAY, (ask your pharmacy,)be able to bring them back in to be reused, for your refills. If not, you can allways recycle. They are plastic after all.

What's wrong with that ? Like if you had a beach bag and you bought it to the beach and put money in it it would be water resistant . ;~)

Yup. You can put tic tacs in there. But you should probably put some paper around the bottle so no one things you're "popping pills".

If I go on a highway that has toll booths, I use them as change holders. That way when you pour them out in your hand, you can pour the exact amount needed.

www.Instructables.com Go there, and do a search on "pill bottles". One of my personal favorites is the USB water-proof keychain using a pill bottle.

For anyone who has never visited Instructables.com, but has an interest in "recycling" random items... I STRONGLY suggest you give it a visit.

When I go camping, I carry stick type matches in a pill bottle to keep them dry.

I recently dumbed my old pilljar out......I used it to store nail polish remover and some stuff my friend gave me. I feel so much smarter now whithout it....I guess that didnt answer your question but uh.....

Do not store any medications/vitamins in a used bottle. Bad idea.
