One day, the Antichrist will be revealed. Second Thessalonians 2:3-4 tells us how we will recognize the Antichrist: "Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God."gotquestions.org
The term or title antichrist, in Christian theology, refers to a leader who fulfills Biblical prophecies concerning an adversary of Christ, while resembling him in a deceptive manner. The antichrist will seemingly provide for the needs of the people but deny them ultimate salvation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist
Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. The term applies To all who deny what the bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.
I John 2:17 states that little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrist; whereby we know that it is the last time. they went out from among us, but they were not of us, because if they were they would have stayed with us. Anyone that denies that Jesus is the Christ is ANTICHRIST.
That's easy one, If you don't allow the "teachings of men" to get in your way and rely on the word of God. Who has contention been bsince the between the beginning of this earth age? God and Satan. Many have these outlandish ideas of some "strange" person rising-up out the Roman empire, usually shown with dark swept back hair and black sunglasses. Such an idea lacks any Biblical base. In Rev.12:9 it states that "Satan" is being cast down on to the earth and "woe to the inhabitors of the Earth". In II Thess. Chpt. 2 Vs.3, it tells you that Christ's return will not happen until the "Son of Perdition" be revealed. Perdition simply means "already sentenced to death". There's only one, read Ezk.28:9 &10, where God condemns Satan to death. In Rev. Chpt. 9 Vs.11, it states the two names of Satan for you, "Abaddon" (Hebrew) and "Apollyon" (Greek) where you could not mistake who the Ant-Christ is. These aforementioned names simply mean "The Destroyer".
