What can get rid of severe cramps is taking a painkiller like ibuprofen and make sure you follow instructions given. You can put pressure on the part that hurts as well as placing a hot water bottle on it. Massage your abdomen and elevate your fit a bit to relax your uterine muscles. You may be low on potassium. Try eating at least one banana or drinking at least one glass of orange juice daily. Also make sure that you warm up before exercising to help avoid muscle strains, and cool down afterwards to help release some of the excess lactic acid from your muscles.
