Boy, is that a loaded question. without religion we would have no wars. think about what that means. Every single person on this planet will tell you whatever their religion is is the best and only religion. you will have to figure this one out on your own.
Any religion that makes you happy is the best for you. For me, I pick and choose parts of different religions that I follow. In general I am more spiritual than religious. I do believe in a god or higher power even though I was born Jewish.

i just picked the one that would be best for me wen i die, witch is christian. why you ask? cuzz as far as i know almost all other religion will welcome you with open arms evan if you baleaved in a different god, but if you don't beleav in the god of the bible and he is real? then you won't be happy wen you die. but that's just me, i'm probably going to hell any way. i hope its okay to say that on here?
No religion is the best because most religions have something against another religion which isn't good there like competing it's best to believe one god & accept that there is only one instead humans had to make it complicated & give god a million different names that's what made us so confused now do I go to heaven if I believe all religions cause then maybe I'll start
The one that serves the god who is merciful, just, faithful, loving, kind, and good; and emulates those traits with joy. Religion is much more than ideology. Unfortunately most don't live their beliefs.
I'm Asatru and we worship many gods and goddesses as well as the andvaettir (land spirits) of the forest, earth and streams. Our core values are the Nine Noble Virtues: Courage, Truth, Honor, Fidelity, Discipline, Hospitality, Industriousness, Self-Reliance and Perseverance. The family is greatly valued and honored and we reject any form of discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, language, nationality, race, or sexual orientation. Not that we are perfect in this, every individual brings life experiences into his/her religion that are not necessarily good but part of the purpose of a religion is to show you ways of improving yourself thru study and fellowship.
The religion you are raised in miraculously becomes the one that is SO obviously the only right one. Don't fret. Even if you switch faiths, you'll come up with novel ways of justifying your us vs. them mentality. "God" will speak, --almost as if He IS your thoughts-- and He'll assure you all day every day..."yoooooou are right....everyone else who thiiiiiiinks they're right is wroooooooong!" (unless of course they happen to agree with you)
Whatever one you like the best. Personally I found Kemetic, or the old Egyptian ways to be the best. Best of all, it doesn't push conversion or anything, and if you're a good person you'll still get a place in the afterlife (don't know if all of my people believe the same, it's not completely uniform).
I am christian, not just because my parents taught me to, but because God actually works through people every day. The proof is in nowadays deaths ending in life:God given miracle! People rejoicing in times of depression! Seeing a pattern?
