When your pregnant can you smoke or drink alcohol?

NO!!!!! How old are you? You should've learned that smoking or drinking while pregnant is the most dangerous thing to your baby years ago! It can be fatal to your baby, or your child will end up having a lot of birth defects.

NOOOO!!!! But if you want your child to have lots of diseases and disorders later in life, then yes, smoke and drink away *sarcasm*. DONT SMOKE OR DRINK WHILE PREGNANT!!!!

Hate to say it, WhyMe, but if we aren't tough, you, the taxpayer, will have to deal with it later. This shouldn't be a thought in your head if you love your children. I have a gas station employee, here in Fresno, that wished she'd listened to my brother about smoking near 3 packs of cigarettes a day during her pregnancy. She doesn't like to talk about her baby now. Shouldn't a proud mother brag about her child? It's fine, though. She's a very selfish person but her newborn got to pay the price...

I can appreciate you asking this now. Without being so judgmental, I'm going to ask you to do something for me. Homework, if you will. I want you to research the effects of smoking and/or drug use during pregnancy. Just Google the subject and read the stories and see the pictures. Ask Social Services in your area. Stay strong through it all. This is not going to be easy to stomach. I'm going to check back here everyday for your comments. Tell me your findings. In completing this task, we can both ask the others to back off the heat that you're taking right now. Just 15 minutes of your day is all I ask & just see it on the Internet. Will you take up the challenge?

HELL NO!!! Anything you eat, drink, or smoke goes straight to the baby's stomach and has affects on him/her!!! If you do this, you're baby's liver & lungs could be working very poorly. It is horrible for your baby's health and I would recommend this baby coming out alive!
