On the apple iPad 2 do you need Internet for FaceTime?

You actually need or require internet for facetime on ipad 2. With the recent launch of iPad 2, Apple has actually enabled FaceTime for use together with its latest or new built in cameras. Check out imore.com/2011/03/03/facetime-ipad-2/ for more information.

Yes. FaceTime is like Skype so it does need Internet.
