Can I work in a nursing home if I have an felony on my recordmthatnis non violent or drug related

It have not went to jail for this crime nor finger printed and / booked i was put into a diversion program for first time offenders so it shows up as pending it has been seven years

Just be sure to disclose the situation with them. They can ask questions about it and make a decision based on info you provide. It may or may not hurt you. You are given an equal chance at the job. Someone will eventually offer a second chance and overlook felony.

Yes, I went and talked to the person that makes the ultimate decision and I told him that there is something on my back ground that may / not prevent me from getting the job and he is just waiting to see what's turns up and he also appreciates my honestly ans he seems hopeful

You can work in some nursing homes if you have a felony. Some nursing homes will hire you despite that. However, you have to bear in mind that there are some nursing homes that won't dare employ you.

Yeah I'm not going to let my hopes get too high, however I am going to work on the expungement process
