Is the back camera of the iPad 3 better than the front camera?

is the camera that goes on you when your holding the iPad worse than the camera on the side with the Apple logo? I saw a video about it and I wanted to make sure

Both cameras have the same qualities. They can both record HD (720p) video but the pictures taken from the front cameras are 640x480 while the pictures taken from the rear Camera are 960x720 or 720x960 depending if it's horizontal or vertical.

Actully the rear camera is better then the front because , front is a vga and rear is HD up to 1080p
