The summer temperature of the city would be warmer at night and cooler during the day. This is because the temperature of ocean or lake is determined by the region covered by the waters, that is the reason why it does not oscillate as much as lands temperature.

I believe any location near an ocean is cooler than an area that is inland.

The temperature would be warmer at night and cooler during the day. This is due to the fact that the temperature of ocean water, or lake water depending on the size of the lake, dose not fluctuate as much as lands temperature.
