Does brushing your teeth w/ hydrogen peroxide hurt them? Read comment

I mean just for a few seconds then using regular toothpaste after a good rinse brighten them up. White-strips are expensive.

Brushing your teeth using hydrogen peroxide will not hurt them but this highly depends on the concentration. Hydrogen peroxide can whiten your teeth and also it is a good antibacterial solution for your mouth. For more info, visit http://www.whitenteethsource.com/does-hydrogen-peroxide-whiten-teeth.html.

It wouldn't hurt, but I seriously doubt it would help.

I like this stuff:

It is about as expensive as white strips, just as effective, and the supply lasts longer.

I bush my teeth with toothpaste and swish with straight hydrogen peroxide. It will not hurt you (unless swallowed) and make your teeth bright white. It takes longer for the results but only cost around 99 cents per bottle. My family has been doing this for years.

Best to listen the experts, namely dentists who all say, "You can do significant damage to your gums and lining of your mouth. You can also disrupt the normal flora of bacteria in your mouth." see http://www.realself.com/question/safe-swish-hydrogen-peroxide-whiten-teeth
