Movie buffs, Seems like remember a rumor about "Goldfinger". It was about someone dieing after being painted gold. Is it true ?

No... it's just a rumor. People at the time thought that by covering one's pores that it would cause them to suffocate - which is of course not true.

Mythbusters did an episode on it as well in their pilot season, which originally aired on March 7, 2003.

They did paint a woman in gold paint. Her dying was an urban myth
