How do you get pregnant when the doctors tell you there is no hope?

I am 29 and we have been trying for years now with no success. Any suggestions would help!

Depends what the problem is .. sometimes there is no hope because the reproductive system is so badly damaged it just can't do it.

I had two friends who went through the same thing. One had a problem with scaring from a previous pregnancy and her falopian tubes were obstructed .. She was never able to conceive ... my other friend had a very similar condition, but was able to conceive after losing quite a bit of weight .. Did THAT have anything to do with it .. I don't know .. But she had two successful pregnacies after that. Who knew

I have PCOS so that is a factor and never have regular cycles but even after cycles of provera and Chlomid, nothing and we did that for 6 months without my follicles releasing so I'm at my wits end! and So sad b/c we are so ready to be parents and even adoption is so expensive. I feel like crying all the time!

There are different herbs and fertility treatments that are said to aid women that have no hopes of conceiving. Ask a doctor or a gynecologist to recommend you to a good fertility clinic and book an appointment.

Yes, but my insurance covers no fertility and we don't make enough or have enough stashed away to pay for IVF or IUI. Just seems like there is no hope and that there is something wrong with me!

If doctors, who have tested, probed & prodded you, say there's no hope, then you have to understand that getting pregnant is out of the question for you. Its NOT the end of the world-you don't NEED a child to make you a "whole woman". Sure, you can adopt, but realise that is STILL someone else's child, & what YOU get is a fake birth certificate naming that child as "yours" when its not & never will be-all you do is provide temporary shelter for it. I'm adopted so I can say I know what I'm talking about there.
You could try in-vitro fertilization, but most insurances do not cover that so you're looking at giving up an arm & leg to pay for this with NO guarantee that it will work.
We are NOT guaranteed the ability to have children. They're not a "right".A LOT of us are childless due to choice or medical issues, & WE still lead fulfilling lives. Without kids, we have time to ourselves, extra $$$ to play with, NO BILLS other than rent, insurance & utilities. Childless couples can travel, go to school, do whatever they want.
I'm sorry that you can't reproduce, but really, its not that big of a deal. Life goes on.....
