I found it so disturbing. Its teaching that self is the most important, and that there is nothing worse than death. To me, honor and respect, are way more important that death. Its sad that our culture embrasses such horror. Think of syria, Darfur, and other holocausts going on right now, that nobody seems to give a crap about. Its really sad.
Lol. Everyone has their own opinion to things. When I was younger, I bought a whole series of a book series and I hated it. I didn't understand much of it and it was too scary. Then after a few years I was really into it. It just happens.
i hate when they make a movie out of a book and everyone is obbsessed about it even though they probably just started reading the book when the trailor came out..like twilight..i dont like the hunger games but thats my opinion y would u care?
The Hunger Games has an OUTSTANDING plot, and viscous characters. It is very interesting, yet very gory. I absolutely love the series, even though it is disturbing and murderous. Lots of kids world wide are captivated by the girl you least expected rises up again everyone... Hope I helped :)

I think the books were popular mostly because of the movies. I have never read the books or seen the movies, but hardly anybody had even heard of the book until the movie started being made. The movie looked cool, so people started reading the book. And people spread the word and soon Hunger Games became the next Twilight!
because it's all about a pooping bird. i know you've seen the front cover and could tell it sucks before you even gave it a second glance. you see a bird in the middle and all those lines coming out of it is shooting poop and the circles is exploding poop. i was wise enough not to read about people fighting for pooping birds
