God makes all women. I don't know how many are mentioned in the Bible. The Genesis stories say he created humanity in his image, both male and female. This is not to be interpreted as a separate humanity than in Genesis 2. "The rib" is figurative of equality, of man's helpmate, woman, being equal to him, as stated in Genesis 1. It should not be read as a chronological timeline of everything, nor should it be read as a different event than the creation of all of humanity but rather as part of it.
God made one woman according to Genesis chapter one, verse 22. He made a woman from the man's rib, and so the woman was not created from clay. This is shown where God put Adam to sleep and from his rib, He made the woman.
The Bible does not make any other mention of making a woman other than Eve. If you are referring to the those who say that Adam had a wife before Eve, you can look to the following for more information on that...
God made one in the beginning. God used part of the male to form the female to show that they were actually the same created being, two halves of a whole. The female was not created as a separate being, second to the male. She was formed as part of the initial man, in order to be a "helpmate" for the male. Eve was brought into being to strengthen and powerfully help the male, but she was made from the same "stuff" and she was every bit as perfect a creation as man and every bit as patterned after God's image and likeness.http://www.gotquestions.org/Adams-rib.html
one from a rib named Eve. It's a beautiful picture. A woman from a rib. My wonderful wife whom I am undeserving of her love and support. Has always protected my most vital organs my heart from breaking my lungs she takes my breath away tho. Isn't this what a ribcage suppose to do? God is so very good to me. I just want to be a better husband today than I was yesterday and improve everyday. In a thousand years I could never deserve my wife. Pro 31: 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
