Why was there a prevacid recall

At this time there has been no recall for Prevacid. The more serious side effects of Prevacid include chest pain, stroke, high blood pressure, fainting, migraine, heart attack, insomnia, acne, hair loss and nosebleed.

i have been taking that 1 everyday for years cause i get heartburn easy.thanks god im still here... no chest pain.

Prevacid is an awesome PPI I had been taking protonix, and a few other scripts for years on and off, but the OTC Prevacid was better then all of that. I didn't have to fight with my insurance company to get it. When you have diagnosed Gerd like me who cares about side effects when your burning a hole in your esophagus. I never had a problem now I can only find it on eBay no store has it in stock.

What I found on another site is that there's only one manufacturer for OTC Prevacid and they were shutdown by the feds due to their manufacturing process mixing different medicines in Prevacid containers. I suggest to get an Rx from your doc to buy the real stuff...
