Here in California all the storm drains lead to the ocean, so anytime someone dumps or spills oil, antifreeze or whatever on the side of the road or throws their trash out the window of their car and it rains all this stuff gets washed into the ocean. Also every one to two months a sewage treatment plant leaks into the ocean.
People pollute water in a number of ways and they are through Industrial chemical discharges, field fertilizer runoff, farm animal manure, oil slicks from cars, ships dumping greasy ballast and boats dumping sewage tanks at sea. Others include; driving jet skis and boats and bio labs discharging bio waste from automatic testing.
People pollute water by peeing in it, fuel (oil) spills (but that's out in the ocean [SEA] Plastic bags left around can fly into water weighs or get caught in drains which can kill turtles because turtles eat jelly fish and jelly fish look like plastic bags when they are flying around in moving water (ocean or sea). THanKYou!!!! :)
