These are all terrible and ineffective. You will go through misery and gain back anything you lost the second you return to a normal lifestyle. They're also extremely unhealthy. We have the golden rules and four food groups for a reason, just suck it up and do it the real way. Anything successful and worth doing takes time and energy.

And also, half a pound a day is unrealistic and unhealthy, it's hard on your heart. Healthy weight loss is half a pound to two pounds a WEEK, any health professional will tell you that.

Um, yeah, if you want to believe the Government recommended/suggested bullcrap. The food group pyramid is a scam originally suggested by dairy farmers who felt they werent making enough money. The nutrition recommendation from the Government/FDA/AMA is a big part of the reason there are so many health and nutrition issues here in the U.S. Look back in History, and in other countries. The health issues we have now were nonexistant in the past, and for most part nonexistant in the other countries, until they start eating like the U.S. currently eats.

I personally have implemented the higj protein/low carb diets with great success. Those who do not have success are the ones who return to thier old unhealthful eating habits instead of adopting a more healthful one. Since I, and many other people I know, have change the way we eat to a high protein/low carb program, many of our health related ailments have TOTALLY disappeared. And the weight has stayed off.

Don't starve yourself.. Eat but dont eat alot... don't fall a sleep on a full stomach...
