Oh god what have I done?

I rebooted my jailbroken iPod touch 4g 5.0.1. And it's tethered. Tethered basically means that if you reboot your idevice, I can't do anything with my iPod except play with my App Store apps. Can't open Cydia. Cant open Winterboard. Can't open Safari. My big brother, who owns a laptop, would usually gladly agree to re-jailbreak my idevice. But its morning and he's grumpy. He's probably going to be grumpy for the rest of the day. And i JUST found out about a Cydia apo that can convert your tethered idevice to untethered. Untethered is much better than tethered because you don't have to re-jailbreak your iPod/iPhone/iPad every time you reboot it. And I can't open Cydia. What am I supposed to do. Oh god.

There is a high possibility that the program you used was faulty or you did not do it in a proper way. I would recommend that you restore the factory settings of the iPod by resetting it. You can also take it to a professional so that it can be checked.

I answered that way specifically, because I was spoofing her beginning and ending the question with "Oh, God". There was no real philosophical meaning.

Reset your iPod and it should be fine if not you rebooted it wrong!

Chill out. Your jailbreak is tethered, which means you have to connect it to your computer and run the Redsn0w's "just boot" sequence. Piece of cake.

I will duplicate my comment here since I just saw your answer for the first time. I answered the way I did to spoof her emotional "Oh, God" at the beginning and end of her question. No theological philosophy implied.
