How old are you?

If you are under 18, then legally you can't leave. If you are 18 or older, and are mature and responsible enough to move out on your own, then telling your parents shouldn't be all that hard to do. Not to mention as long as you have a steady job, and a good place to live, and are able to take care of yourself, then they shouldn't have too much of a cow over it.

To tell your parents that you are moving out can be very hectic. You need to sit down with them and let them know of your plans to move out. You can also assure them that this is what you want. Let them know of how you will get money for your rent and upkeep to stop them from worrying.

Sweety you need to tell them, just sit one or both of them down & in a calm way explain why, when &how you are doing it. As a mother of 2 I could never imagine on of them not telling me anything & being left in the dark. Trust & Respect could be lost if you dont. If they are upset they will get over it because they love you & its hard to see you growing up. sometimes they feel like they are not needed anymore but you will always need them even if it doesnt seem that way sometimes..good luck plz keep me advised

If you're under 18, you can't legally move out. And if you try, they can call the police and literally have you arrested for being a run away.
If you're 18+ though, then just be straightforward and tell them. I'm sure they'll support their child becoming independent and finding their place in the world.
