It is bad to exercise with back pain, because you risk further injury to that area. It would be wise to allow that area to heal, before starting any vigorous exercise program. Consult your doctor if the pain does not go away. Take care.
It's not safe to exercise if you have lower back pain. Exercises should be avoided when you have acute low back pain. Low back pain can be mild, periodic or chronic. Consult a doctor for more information.
