Could I have type 1 Diabetes?

I am 15, and female. Recently I have been urinating about every half an hour. This is wierd, I know, but I smelled my urine because I heard that diabetes can make your urine smell sweet , and my urine smells extremely sweet you wouldn't even know it was urine if someone didn't tell you. Anyways it is also completely clear and I haven't been drinking any more than I usually do. Just 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor because I thought I had a UTI and I did, but they also said I had ketones in my urine, but I just recently got diagnosed with Celiac disease and have been vomiting for 4 months now, and he said if my body is in starvation mode that could be why there are ketones in my urine. Also I have been very tired and fatigued...does anything I said sound out of the ordinary? Thank You!

All the symptoms you are experiencing are out of the ordinary. Some of the symptoms of type 1 diabetes apart from sweet-smelling urine include increased thirst and frequent urination, extreme hunger, weight loss, fatigue and blurred vision. You should consult your doctor if you're concerned about diabetes.

Your urine would also have glucose in addition to having ketones. Surely if you are being worked up for celiac disease they have checked your blood sugar as part of routine lab work but yes, unexplained weight loss, ketones in urine excessive urination and thirst with weakness are symptoms that could mean diabetes. If that's the case you need medical care. Have you told your parents about this concern?

I have tupe 1 too, and those are thr symptoms, id hurry up and get to a doctor, follow me so if you have any questions i can answer them
