Turn on your shower and close the door and sit in your bathroom for a while, the steam helps shrink the swollen mucus. Also, drinking fluids like water, tea or juice will thin mucus, which will help alleviate your stuffy nose. But avoid beverages that contain caffeine, because they will only make your stuffy nose worse. Placing adhesive strips across the bridge of your nose will open up your nasal passages. Breathing strips are especially good for nighttime use. Get a little exercise if you feel up to it. Exercise acts as a natural decongestant by triggering the release of adrenaline, which narrows swollen blood vessels, including the ones blocking your nose. When you go to sleep, if its still stuffy, keep your head elevated. Or just take some cold medicine. Hope this helps (:
you need to buy "VICKS Inhaler" It's a small tube like the size of a lipstick...you could get it from supermarkets and pharmacies. It's very effective and works all the time. It is affordable and very worth it and it also lasts a long time :)
You can use nasal spray to try to get your nose to be clear. Or you could go to the doctor if it doesn't stop getting stuffy. Also, you can drink lots of fluids and keep blowing your nose when you need to, just don't blow it every second, though. Also, maybe some rest would help your nose clear up, so it isn't stuffy. I hope this helps!!! :)
I recommend using Ocean Spray. I have been using it & it works really good. Also blow your nose, and you can also boil water and put it under your nose. Hope your nose gets better! & P.S., omg I HATE stuffy noses! Get em' all the time!
Natural ways: Eat foods with hot sauce, breathe in steam, and sometimes a warm towel on the forehead works. Medicinal ways: Vicks is a great medicine that you put in warm water and when you turn the machine on, it helps you inhale better. It is usually for when you go to sleep though. Other medicine would help also.
A little drastic. You don't have to get rid of your nose, stuffy or not. Get rid of the stuffiness by seeing your doctor, who may treat the symptom, the cause, or both... Hope you feel better.... AH-AH-ah-CHOO!
