Getting dizzy every now and then is not uncommon but every time you get out of the tub is not normal. Your body is telling you that something is going on with your blood pressure. You REALLY SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR. Don't give up with your doctor until you know exactly what is happening. Don't let them just stick you on medications to help the symptoms. Get to the root of the issue and get this resolved so that you and your body can live a healthier life. I wish you Good luck and Good health.

You shouldn't get up to fast, but I don'y understand why you would be getting dizzy just getting out of the tub. I would consult a Doctor, or find something on Google.

You might be feeling dizzy when you get out of the bath tub, because of orthostatic hypotension. This is a form of low blood pressure that mostly happens when you stand up after lying down or sitting down. You should visit a doctor to find out the cause of the problem.

It could be cause you got up out the tub too fast that can make you dizzy. That has happen to me before. Try getting up slowly and see if that helps and you might need to see a doctor.

You may have Vertigo, which involves dizziness and an imbalance of your equalibrium. I am not a doctor however; have suffered from Vertigo several times. If you tend to have sinus problems or ear problems this is what usually brings the Vertigo on. At times getting water in my ears can bring on short bouts of dizziness. I hope this was helpful.

Orthostatic hypotension is a side effect of many medications. Check with your pharmacist if you are taking any.

Same thing happened with me. Just try not to pick your head up so fast.

This could be a blood pressure issue. You really should get checked by a doctor before you get hurt.

Please, see a doctor ASAP. What you are experiencing is called orthostatic hypotension: a drop in blood pressure caused by a sudden change in position. Until you get to the doctor, be careful to change position slowly, to lessen the dizziness and the drop in your blood pressure.

Does anyone know of things to help it other than medication???

Unfortunately, you almost always must take medication, BUT, over time, you may grow out of it. Also, be sure you're getting a really healthy diet--lots of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, small amounts of lean proteins, and limit the junk food and fast food. That said, one thing you could try--but talk it over with your doctor first--is to raise the amount of salt you use. Don't go crazy with it, but add just a bit to see if it makes a difference. As for how to eat right, go to www.choosemyplate.gov for really great, easy-to-understand ideas on how to change your diet for the better. Good luck--I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, that the doc finds a quick, easy fix.
